After having worked for more than 20 years in high-level positions for Lyon-based giant Merial, Bruno Rabu experienced health problems that forced him to make changes in his professional life as well as his leisure activities and passions.

“I loved practicing sports, and there were many things I just couldn’t do anymore. I told myself I had to find a solution that would allow me to keep sailing. I looked at what was out there, and I couldn’t find anything I was happy with. That was the starting point,” he explains.

In 2016, after close to 3 years of research and development, Chrysadev unveiled its “technological gem,” for which 3 patents have been filed: the first power-assisted and connected winch handle.
